Conducted at practice site by API risk managers. Reviews designed to identify areas of potential risk. The visit includes review of policies and procedure, medical records, tour of facility, interviews with key administrators. Comprehensive report identifying issues and offering advice will be provided.

- Practice risk assessments may be performed upon request or mandated by APIE executive staff due to risk management concerns.

Available to individual and group insureds (physicians, extenders and office staff).

Remote Record Reviews
Available to API insureds.
Individual physicians or group practices can send copies of records or electronic files for review by API risk managers. These are often conducted to help prepare a group practice for an audit. This can include a coding audit.
